nuclear power exhibition

As Head of Creative Services at the Science Museum, I produced and directed an £8.5m exhibition, website and visitor centre focused on nuclear power at a location adjacent to Sellafield, Cumbria.

The process of securing funding and setting up the necessary contracts and agreements with the range of stakeholders took over 12months.

I led the design process, managing external designers and in-house teams developing the content. Exhibits included an interactive high definition 'immersion cinema', an ultra-large graphic projection system, interactives, artworks and objects. The project also included a full website and operational training.

This was a highly innovative and award winning contract and was acclaimed for its balanced handling of the subject

"It is a vital contribution to the energy debate and strips away the secrecy associated with the nuclear industry."
