international experience

My career has involved many international partnerships and I have visited and in worked with institutions in many countries, particularly Europe the middle East and far East.

I have been a frequent attendee and speaker at US, European and Asian/Pacific conferences on science engagement in those regions. This has allowed me to build a deep understanding of the field worldwide and develop personal contacts in many relevant organisations.

As a consultant I recently completed a project for the British Council  (Newton Fund) in South Africa, working with township schools to pilot web-based training techniques for mathematics teachers.

Most recently I am attending a conference in China as a guest of the Niba makerspace network, the 2nd Belt and Road Scientific Innovation and Entrepreneurship Convention.
