education policy and research

From working with the DfES on Classroooms of the Future  to developing large scale schools support services working closely with governments in the UK and overseas, I have a good knowledge of education and of the latest developments in research and pedagogy.

I am currently the Welsh Education Policy advisor to the Royal Society of Chemistry. This involves scanning all developments in education in Wales, analysing and interpreting trends and relevance, producing briefings.

As a Creative Agent to the Lead Creative Schools scheme operated by Arts Council Cymru and Welsh Government, and through other network forums I am closely involved in the developing thinking on creative learning in Wales curriculum reform.

Advisor to Think, Learn Challenge (TLC) on the Review and Design of Curriculum for Vocational Education in Thailand, and managed a pilot project researching the use of online teacher training in South Africa, both supported by the British Council.
